NSL breaks 3 recently established records within a week and sets a new record
JAGDALPUR Nagarnar, April 20, 2025:/// Records are made to be broken. Yet, it seems that NSL Steel Plant is set to break records! The three recently established records – highest silt production in a day, highest raw steel production in a day and highest HR coil production in a day – were broken on 19 April. Surprisingly, all these three records have not even passed a week since they were established. The silt plant had produced 12941 tonnes of silt in a day on 16 April, which was its best performance till date. Barely three days later, on April 19, it set a new benchmark by producing 13131 tonnes of raw steel. Similarly, Dhan Slab Cast which produced 8477 tonnes on April 14, surpassed its own record of April 19 by producing 8659 tonnes of raw steel. Continuing the same momentum, NSL's Hotspot Mill produced a record 8309 tonnes of HR Coil on April 14, surpassing its previous performance of producing 8863 tonnes of HR Coil on April 19. The close management relationship in an integrated steel plant ensures that the excellent performance of one unit motivates the other to perform in the same way, and raises the benchmark in the process. Further growth in the synergy of the NSL team is expected, which will provide a strong base for establishing NSL Steel Plant as a leading domestic producer of hot rolled steel.
