Jindal Steel Chhattisgarh Limited today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government for Rs 1 lakh crore

Jindal Steel Chhattisgarh Limited: 7.5 MTPA Integrated Steel Plant, 2400 MW 3x800 Jindal *** Thermal Power Plant,*** and 500 MW Jindal Solar Power Plant MOU signed with State Government.

Raipur 01.07.2025.///  To accelerate industrial development in Chhattisgarh, a significantLimited, the 500 MW Solar Power Plant, the 2400 MW Thermal Power Plant, and the stategovernment for the establishment of a steel plant with a capacity of 7.5 million tons perannum (MTPA). A proposed investment of ₹75,000 crore will be allocated for this project.

The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai and Mr. Rajat Kumar,Secretary and Coordinator of the State Investment Promotion Board, Commerce andIndustry Department, along with several officials from the industrial sector. This project isexpected to aid in the creation of local employment and strengthen the state's economy.

Mr. Pradeep Tandon of Jindal Group stated that they are committed to promoting industrialinfrastructure in Chhattisgarh. He expressed confidence that this steel plant would producehigh-quality steel and create new development opportunities for the local community.

The government has also acknowledged this MoU as a significant step towards industrialdevelopment in the state. Such industrial investments will help realize our goal of making

Chhattisgarh a global industrial hub.

The establishment of this steel plant and power plants is set to begin soon and is viewed asa crucial initiative for the development of the state and for improving the living standards of local residents.
