NSL bags National Level Steel Safety Awards
Jagdalpur Nagarnar July 31, 2025 /// At the 75th Joint Committee on Safety, Health and Environment in Steel Industry (JCSSI) meeting held on 25th and 26th July 2025 at Ranchi, NMDC Steel Limited (NSL) won sixteen (16) prestigious National Level Steel Safety Awards 2024 for its outstanding safety performance. The awards were presented under the No Fatal Minor Accidents category for Integrated Steel Plants, which include the following achievements: • No Fatal Minor Accidents in the Integrated Steel Plant in the calendar years 2023 and 2024. • No fatal accidents in various areas of the Integrated Steel Plant in calendar years 2022-23 & 2023-24. • No fatal accidents involving contract labour – calendar years 2023 & 2024 These recognitions reflect NSL’s strong commitment to promote zero-harm workplace through robust safety systems, continuous monitoring and active involvement of both employees and contract workforce. The award was received on behalf of NMDC Steel Limited by Shri Pawan Kumar, Assistant General Manager (Security), and Shri Anju Kumar Singh, Senior Manager (Work) along with Union leaders - Shri Santram Jethiya, President SMSS; Shri Ramesh Kashyap, Secretary SMSS; Shri Mandas Kashyap, President SSU; and Shri Vinayendra Nath Maiju, Secretary SSU. On this achievement, Executive Director & Plant Head, Shri M.N.V.S. Prakar congratulated NMDC Steel Limited Group for their commitment towards achieving zero-harm workplace and urged all to maintain highest safety standards. He reiterated that these achievements are a result of collective vigilance, strict adherence to safety protocols and pervasive safety culture at all levels of the organization. जगदलपुर ,नगरनार, 31 जुलाई, 2025 /// इस्पात उद्योग में सुरक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और पर्यावरण पर 75वीं संयुक्त समिति (जेसीएसएसआई) की रांची में 25 और 26 जुलाई 2025 को आयोजित बैठक में, एनएमडीसी स्टील लिमिटेड (एनएसएल) ने अपने उत्कृष्ट सुरक्षा प्रदर्शन के लिए सोलह (16) प्रतिष्ठित राष्ट्रीय स्तर के इस्पात सुरक्षा पुरस्कार 2024 जीते। ये पुरस्कार एकीकृत इस्पात संयंत्रों के लिए "कोई घातक छोटी दुर्घटना नहीं" श्रेणी के अंतर्गत प्रदान किए गए, जिनमें निम्नलिखित उपलब्धियाँ शामिल हैं: • कैलेंडर वर्ष 2023 और 2024 में एकीकृत इस्पात संयंत्र में कोई घातक छोटी दुर्घटना नहीं हुई। • कैलेंडर वर्ष 2022-23 और 2023-24 में एकीकृत इस्पात संयंत्र के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में कोई घातक दुर्घटना नहीं हुई। • अनुबंध श्रम से जुड़ी कोई घातक दुर्घटना नहीं - कैलेंडर वर्ष 2023 और 2024 ये मान्यताएं मजबूत सुरक्षा प्रणालियों, निरंतर निगरानी और कर्मचारियों और अनुबंध कार्यबल दोनों की सक्रिय भागीदारी के माध्यम से शून्य-हानिकारक कार्यस्थल को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एनएसएल की मजबूत प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाती हैं। यह पुरस्कार एनएमडीसी स्टील लिमिटेड की ओर से श्री पवन कुमार, सहायक महाप्रबंधक (सुरक्षा), और श्री अंजू कुमार सिंह, वरिष्ठ प्रबंधक (कार्य) ने यूनियन नेताओं - श्री संतराम जेठिया, अध्यक्ष एसएमएसएस; श्री रमेश कश्यप, सचिव एसएमएसएस; श्री मानदास कश्यप, अध्यक्ष एसएसयू; और श्री विनयेंद्र नाथ मैजू, सचिव एसएसयू के साथ प्राप्त किया। इस उपलब्धि पर, कार्यकारी निदेशक और प्लांट हेड, श्री एमएनवीएस प्राकर ने एनएमडीसी स्टील लिमिटेड समूह को शून्य-हानिकारक कार्यस्थल प्राप्त करने के प्रति उनकी प्रतिबद्धता के लिए बधाई दी और सभी से उच्चतम सुरक्षा मानकों को बनाए रखने का आग्रह किया एनएमडीसी स्टील लिमिटेड अपने दुर्घटना-मुक्त रिकॉर्ड को बनाए रखने, अपनी सुरक्षा प्रबंधन प्रणालियों को और मजबूत करने तथा परिचालन उत्कृष्टता के लिए प्रयास करते हुए अपने कर्मचारियों की भलाई सुनिश्चित करने के लिए समर्पित है।
