'Excellent Production Award' ceremony organised at BALCO, 528 employees honoured
BALCONAGAR, December 9, 2025 //// Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), a Vedanta Group company, organized the "Outstanding Production Awards" ceremony to recognize the excellent production performance and promote discipline, productivity, and teamwork in the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26. A total of 528 BALCO employees and business partners were honored at the ceremony for their outstanding contributions.
Various units played a key role in this achievement. 151 employees from the Carbon Unit, 115 from Potline-1, 171 from Potline-2, and 91 from Rolled Products (RP) were honored for their outstanding work.
During the second quarter of the financial year, various BALCO units demonstrated excellent production performance, significantly contributing to the organization's achievements. 115 employees from Potline-1 were honored for their outstanding contribution to achieving production targets, operational discipline, and a coordinated work style. The leadership team commended their continued efforts, noting that Potline-1 played a key role in strengthening performance standards. Potline-2 received the highest number of recognitions, with 171 employees, a clear testament to their disciplined approach, high production efficiency, and excellent coordination.
In addition, 151 members of the Carbon Unit were honored for their consistent discipline in production, quality, and operations, whose efforts strengthened operational efficiency and significantly improved production performance. Similarly, 91 employees from the Rolled Products Unit were honored for their outstanding performance in production, quality, and operational efficiency.
